Less Paper, More Composition: Minimalist Collage

Collage looks easy until you have a pile of pretty paper and no idea where to stop. This class is about doing more with less: a few shapes, one strong image and plenty of empty space.

We'll play with negative space, balance, scale, colour and rhythm using simple geometric shapes, and you'll see how small choices change the whole feel of a piece. No experience or drawing skills needed, just curiosity.

You'll leave with at least one finished composition to take home, and a new way of looking at every scrap of paper you own.

Led by Rocio, collage artist and founder of Pegados Collage Studio. Originally from Peru, Rocio has a background in graphic design and product design and makes her work from rescued paper.
